Donna completed practicum hours at Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois; University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio; and St. Leonard Health and Rehabilitation Center, Centerville, Ohio. Areas of practice included ICU, neuro, med/surg and ortho/trauma floors and skilled nursing wing. She served as a bedside musician at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, and is currently an Advisor and Reviewer for the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP).

Donna is certified in C flute, alto flute, and bass flute, allowing her to provide a variety of therapeutic experiences for patients.​​​​
